MLO 4: Research and Technology:
4.1. Students gain knowledge of appropriate research methodologies and are able to apply them in their studies.
4.2. Students use appropriate technologies in research and studies relative to Japanese language and culture.
4.3. Students collect, manage and analyze current and emerging technology-based resources to develop and produce their scholarly work.

JAPN 404 Advanced Japanese for Presentational Communication
WLC 400: WLC Major Capstone
Reflective Narrative:
Through these two courses, I gained knowledge in a variety of programs, including Powerpoint, Word, and Weebly, the website this portfolio is hosted on, in order to fulfill MLO 4.3. I also learned about how to gather information via resource databases, and use such resources as Zotero and Google Docs to organize my study, fulfilling MLO 4.1. During this time I also became quite skilled with using Japanese IME, fulfilling MLO 2. By using all these resources together, I was able to build a research paper that I can feel proud of completing, and with my current knowledge, the next time I need to do this, I know it will be much less of a challenge.
